Great post by Mpinkeyes about the NY Senator’s fast moving shuffle to hedge her bets with Iraq. While this has been the dance that the DNC is playing, shift to the left to appease the radical base of their party, and try to adjust to the center to appease Blue Dogs and most people who while they don’t like what’s going on in Iraq, may not want to haul out the white flag.
This dance is a risky gamble, but it is likely that the DNC won’t be held accountable to any constituency as they are purposely innoculating themselves from their left and the center/right. Certainly the MSM will never hold them accountable whatever the results are, and will likely praise their efforts – at least on MSNBC which should be renamed to MSDNC.
The Clintons have long been known for saying anything to please the crowd so no surprise and hey “charm” got Bill 8 long years in the Oval Office. If I were Hillary I’d be more concerned about appealing to moderate white male voters, many of whom are just not going to vote for a female President regardless of what her last name is.

Well, that is a hurdle she will have to overcome, and of all the Democratic candidates she is trying to two step better than any of them with regards to Iraq.
An interesting note was made tonight by Frank Luntz about her use of language and how she differs from Sen. Obama, who is a much more engagin candidate than Sen. Clinton.
