Convictions are more dangerous enemies to truth than lies.
Isn’t that a sort of paradox?

The statement is definitely paradoxical, which was partly why I posted it. I want the quotes of the day to be ones which challenge assumptions made by people. If one is believes this statement to be true it is a conviction, and that would make it more dangerous a belief than an outright lie about the nature of truth.
You win the prize, which is just a sense of intellectual and reasonable superiority!
